Hi everyone this is my first Folksy Friday!!!!!!!!

The theme this week is Twilight (i'm a bit obsessed)

This caught my eye with it not being about EDWARD or JACOB!


These mittens are almost identical to bellas in twilight.



I personally like this as i could wear it without anyone knowing it could be linked to Twilight.
(i know i'm obsessed but i'm a closet fan)




This garnet ring is so simple but beautiful.



Again i could get away with this, as it's for my books!

Hi again,

well i put my first post on Folksy for some Twilight goodies i can put in my blog. Hopefully get it advertised on my Facebook as well, you never know we might get some newbies!
At this very moment my youngest is asleep and has been since 5pm, so no all nighter on the computer for me!!!
Don't think i've mentioned this (sorry if i have) but my 11yr old son broke his wrist skateboarding the other week, and had it plastered but they did it wrong, so we had to take him back to get it re-broke and re-set last Wednesday. The point of this story is... went into school this morning to tell them that he will be off this wednesday for another x-ray and all they were bothered about was bloody SATS!!!

I'm sure you will get the jist soon but i ramble alot!

To the jewellery bit of my blog... I have just varnished some paper beads today, but i am not totally sure if i like the effect as they have got a slightly aged look now, maybe when they are dry they will be ok. I will give updates on how they turn out and prob some photos too. Wouldn't mind some ideas on how to use them, i was going to just be basic and thread them on to some leather cord???
I need some inspiration :}

A little bit more about me and my family!!

Well to start with my name is Sam and i run skyjewels a jewellery/wedding shops on Folksy and Facebook. I love creating things and been through quite a variety in my time from crosstitch to soap making! It is a running joke in our household that whatever i'm doing next will only last a month or so, but I am really enjoying this jewellery thing and have even managed to secure a corner of the dining room!!
Anyway i am 33yrs old, married and have 3 beautiful children. The oldest is Katie who is 15 soon, Jamie is 11 and recently broke his wrist on his skateboard (thats another blog entirely) and then there is my youngest Sophie who is 3 on thursday!
Oh and we have a cat who is 11, dog who is 7 mths (my baby), rabbit and a newt!!
I am also a self confessed Twilight addict!!! At the moment i am also addicted to.....Cougar Town/Glee/Vampire Diaries/Ashes to Ashes to name a few.
My pt 'proper' job is as a childcare worker at Surestart (may not be proper if tories get in though :(((((
Think just about covered everything, can't wait to do a 'Folksy Friday'
